I loved to make art when I was a kid.
I distinctly remember a friend telling me once, when we were maybe 10 years old, “If you become an artist when you grow up, you won’t make any money until you’re dead.”
It was obviously parroted from an adult in her life, but I remember it lit a fire of spite in me. I took art classes all through school, and earned a BFA in graphic design in 2017. (Take that, Lisa!)
I’m a graphic designer with a passion for storytelling. Emotional connection is one of the most important aspects of human interaction, and storytelling through design can help create those meaningful connections.
With nearly a decade of experience in the marketing industry, I have had fingers in lots of different pies: different strategies, different mediums, different clients. It keeps things interesting.
I live in Saint Louis with my wife and our menagerie of pets. I enjoy cooking, crafting, and I have an unhealthy obsession with the Edwardian time period. I’m also an avid birder, and can often be found on the nearest hiking trail!
